C17 or earlier cottages, 2 storey, plastered walls, thatched roof. 3 2-storey
splayed bays mainly with original leaded casements. Flat hoods on shaped
brackets to doorways. Interior: door with 4 fielded panels with remains
of H hinges, wide boarded doors with wrought hinges on lugs, 1st floor,
2-panel doors, massive chamfered roof principal. Star as oldest cottages
of this type in the town.
