Late C14 stone barn. Enormous steep pitched roof covered in stone slates.
On east are 2 large porches with timber frame gable heads. Narrow lights,
splayed internally. Stone buttresses. Bailiff's solar room over one porch
approached by external stone stairs and fine mediaeval stone chimney with
conical roof. The barn is of 9 bays divided by oak posts on stone plinths
forming aisles and carrying a good open timber roof. Dimensions approximately
130 ft by 40 ft. AM.
