10/26 Barn at Orpenham Farm

G.V. II

Barn. C18, including dated bricks earliest date 1776. Brick and timber frame
with some weatherboarding above brick plinth on east and north hipped painted
metal sheeting roof. 6 bays, aisled on all sides, midstreys in 2nd and 5th
bays. West Elevation: has buttressed brick wall with ventilation slits and
cantilevered hipped roofs over midstreys. Interior: tall raking queen post
trusses.
