C19 early, 3 storeys and cellar, stucco, rusticated ground floor, string
at 1st floor level. The two upper floors are divided into two parts by
three slightly projecting pilasters with incised panels, moulded cornice
and blocking course, with the bed mould of the cornice and the blocking
course breaking forward over the pilasters.
2 windows on 2nd floor, glazing bars altered.
2 half-glazed French casement windows on 1st floor, flush panel at bottom
of door and glazing above altered. These open onto a balcony running across
the whole front with cast iron balustrade, honeysuckle pattern.
Arched yard entrance to left hand on ground floor. This is now the entrance
to the Repertory Theatre which is built behind. A three-centre arch with
2 slender engaged Doric columns supporting an inner concentric arch.
Narrow arched recessed central entrance with steps in recess. Door with
6 flush reeded panels small plain rectangular fanlight and semi-circular
panel over; radiating voussoirs. A shallow segmental bay window to the
right hand, 3-light sash, glazing bars altered, flanked by panelled pilasters
supporting a small entablature over.
Segmental-headed cellar entrance under the bay, with radiating voussoirs.
Nos 32 to 36 (even) form a group.
