Farmhouse and barns. Dated and inscribed over entrance J.S.M. 1838. Dressed
pink sandstone walls with V-jointed quoins, under graduated hipped greenslate
roof with brick and cement-rendered end chimney stacks. Barns of pink sandstone
rubble under part corrugated asbestos and greenslate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays
with left lower T-shaped barns. Centre panelled door and patterned overlight in
pilastered surround. Sash windows with glazing bars in raised stone surrounds.
Barns have recessed 2 bays of doorway and openings in raised stone surrounds.
The left wall is covered by C20 pent extensions. Rear of house has round-headed
staircase window with intersecting glazing bars. C20 barn additions are not of
interest.
