ST 93 SE (off north side), Lower Chicksgrove

2/199 Park House

GV II

Detached cottage. Circa 1700. Dressed limestone, thatched roof,
gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 2-window. Central planked
door in chamfered stone surround with 3-light recessed chamfered
mullioned casement either side. Plat band with moulded lower edge
to first floor, two 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements.
Left return has 2-light mullioned casement to ground floor and to
attic. Integral outshut to right half of rear, mullioned casements
to left. Interior not accessible at time of survey (January 1986).
A little altered example of the typical stone cottage in this area.
