Farmhouse, now detached house. 1713 incised on quoin to south
east corner, altered late C18 and late C19. Rubble stone, tiled
and slate roof, gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 2-window
front. Disused central planked door with flat wooden hood on
brackets and 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement either
side. String course at lintel level. First floor has two 3-
light casements. Integral single-storey kitchen range to right
has 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement; eaves raised in
brick late C19 and roof slated. Right return of kitchen has
external truncated brick stack with offsets, 6-pane sash to right
and 4-pane sash to first floor, this wall is Flemish bond brick
with stone quoins. Right return of main range has two single-
light recessed chamfered casements to attic. Left return has
steel casement to first floor and 2-light casement inserted into
former mullioned casement, retaining dripstone, to attic. Rear
has glazed door and 3-light casement to rubble stone ground floor
of integral outshut, eaves raised in brick to provide first floor
late C19; two 6-pane sashes, and one 4-pane sash and one narrow
sash, flat roof. Interior has open fireplace with cambered
chamfered lintel on stone jambs, chamfered beam with stepped stops,
west room has blocked corner fireplace. Attached to rear and
linked by C19 covered passage are C19 brick outbuildings with Welsh
slate roofs and C20 casements, now stores and garages with north
outbuilding, now cottage annexe.
