6/72 Potters Croft

GV II

House at end of street row. Early C19. Thin-bedded coursed and squared lime-
stone, rubble gable return; Welsh slate roof. Two storeys, 2 windows, symmet-
rical front, all 16-pane sashes set to front wall plane, at ground floor with
flush voussoirs, and later wood shutters, lay-light centre of roof. Central
4-panel modified C19 stable door in decorative pilasters under flat timber hood
to moulded edge. Brick stack to right. Probably built as a pair with Pickwicks
(q.v.), flanking Pennybank Lane; unaltered externally at front.
