GV II
Stable block. Mid C19. Rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Central
coach-house flanked by stables for carriage horses, with access from
courtyard. Above, haylofts and bothies for grooms with access from road
through the park. Coach-house doorway has segmental arch of rubble
voussoirs, double boarded doors. 2 stable doorways on each side with
6-panelled doors below 4-pane fanlights, and 3 stable windows, 16-pane
sashes with glazing bars. On first floor, central opening with
segmental arch of rubble voussoirs, boarded in, and on each side 3 small
square openings, shuttered. Included partly for group considerations.
