House and water mill. Mid to late C18 and C19. Knapped flint and
chalk stone chequerwork, with limestone quoins and brick dressings
to openings, tiled roof. Two storeys and attic, 3 bays. Central
fielded and panelled door with wreath knocker and square fanlight.
Dentilled canopy over on cut brackets. Flush chalkstone plat band.
Sixteen-paned sashes with moulded boxes, but one window blind.
Brick dentilled eaves. Paned hipped dormer. Roof half hipped with
stack on rear wall. To left, a late C19 two-storey red brick
extension, now containing kitchen. Wide eaves and pitched roof
over first floor window and gable stack. To rear, long range
containing early Cl9 water mill, brick laced flint with tiled roof.
Two storeys. Disused at time of survey (June 1987).
