Pair of cottages, now one. Circa 1800. Dressed limestone and
rubble stone, brought to courses, hipped double Roman tiled roof,
axial brick stack. Two-storey, 2-window south front. Planked door
in central gabled stone porch with semi-circular opening, 3-light
cast iron casement either side. First floor has two 3-light cast
iron casements, right return to road has C20 casement to first
floor. Rear has gabled porch with planked door and 3-light
casement to left, single casement, blocked doorway with removed
porch and 3-light casement to right, first floor has one 3-light
casement iron casement and two C20 casements. Attached to left
return is lean-to outhouse with planked door. Estate cottage for
Stourhead Estate.
