Detached cottage. Late C17, altered and extended late C19 and C20.
Dressed limestone, tiled roof, brick stacks. Gable end to lane.
Two-storey, 4-window. Ledged door to left of centre, 2-light
casement to left, two 3-light casements to right. First floor has
four 2-light casements; all are C19 cast iron latticed. Right
return has 4-light casement to ground floor with segmental-headed
cast iron casement to first floor. C19 lean-to addition with
fishscale tiled roof, C20 two-storey wing to left. Left return is
Flemish bond brick to first floor, 2-light cast iron casement.
Interior has deep chamfered beams with stepped stops and open
fireplace with chamfered lintel on chamfered stone jambs, bread
oven.
