Coach-house and former stables. c1765. By John Carr of York for Sir
Marmaduke Wyvill. Rubble, stone slate roof. 1 and 2 storeys, 3:3:3 bays.
Central coach-house block: 2 storeys. Ground floor: 3-bay arcade of ashlar
round arches, the first blocked, the other 2 with board doors. First floor:
3 shuttered openings below segmental arches. Moulded cornice. Hipped roof.
Stables: single storey. Left range: quoins to left. Two 12-pane windows
below segmental arches, board garage door to right. Moulded cornice. Roof
hipped to left. Right range: 4-panel door below 12-pane overlight below
segmental arch, rest of range now obscured by later addition (not of special
interest), and converted into tack rooms.
