Farmhouse. Mid - late C18 remodelling of earlier building. Rubble, pantile
and artificial stone slate roof. 2 storeys with rear outshut, 4 first-floor
windows. Quoins at ends and also on second storey to right of second
window. In second bay, part-glazed board door in ashlar surround. Above,
small 8-pane window in ashlar surround. Other windows side-sliding sashes
of 3 lights in ashlar surrounds with keystones. Brick stepped eaves.
Lowest courses of roof in stone slates. Raised verges rising from stepped
stones forming kneelers. Brick stacks at ends and between second and third
bays. Left return: steep roofline of single-storey building forming left
half of building before present formal elevation built. Interior: some old
fielded panel doors of c1700 type. Panelled window shutters. Staircase in
rear outshut towards centre of right-hand half of building.
