Former public house. Early C19 with large C20 extension. Dressed
stone with slate roof. Double-depth central-entrance plan
with three storeys and C20 porch and extension to left. Central
door obscured by porch. Projecting plinth. Two bays of sightly
differing dates, each has a 4, 5 or 7-light window on each
floor all with recessed flat-faced stone mullions. Three ridge
chimney stacks. 2-light gable windows and a door with
square-cut surround. 4 and 6-light window openings (as
above) to rear and a blocked taking-in door. Small lean-to
extension.
