Rebuilt for the Farmer family. Circa 1760. Three storeys in red brick with
modern tile roof and bracketed eaves cornice. Three near flush frame sash
windows without glazing bars at first and second floors, rendered lintels to
first floor. C19 adaptation of older shop front, with slender pilasters,
carved stone base, panelled and simple entablature. Wood doorcase to house
entrance with architrave, chambranles, enriched consoles, tablet in frieze,
dentil pediment. Door with 6 fielded panels and fanlight. Staircase of later
C13 type: columnar newel. One first floor room has a panelled window seat.
