Pair of houses, formerly one. Late C17th. Slobbered rubble with stone slate
roof. 2 storeys, each house of 2 bays. Windows have rebated and chamfered
surrounds. No. 1, to the right, has modern windows. No. 2 has 6-pane sashes
on the 1st floor and a sashed window with glazing bars below. Continuous drip
course, of square section where rises over enlarged left-hand window. Paired
doorways in central bays. The right-hand one has plain reveals. The
left-hand one is chamfered with battlemented lintel and worn inscription,
possibly 'WB 1665'. Inside, No. 1 has chamfered main joists.
