Row of five cottages, c1840. Timber framed plaster rendered,
with weatherboarded gable ends. Flat roof with ridge stacks of
gault brick. Single range plan with outshuts at the rear. Two
storeys. Five horizontal sliding sashes with small panes at
first floor, the heads flush with eaves. Five similar and
original windows, except for one replaced in C20. Four
doorways, (the fifth has been sealed), three with original
boarding. The slender scantling of the framing is partly
visible on inside of the rear wall of No.38.
