Public house, now a cottage. Late C17 with C19 additions, and C20
alterations. Timber-framed and plastered, brick; plastered brick plinth.
Tall ridge stack to left hand and end stack to right hand range. Plain tiled
roofs; roof to right hand originally slated. Two storeys and one storey and
attic with roof extended as outshut to north over cellar. Three ground floor
windows include one C18 bow window and one fifteen-paned hung sash window.
Interior altered, with exposed C17 floor frames and open hearth, introduced
C18 and carved Burma teak details. Included for group value.
