15/45 The Smithy
II
Smithy. C18 with later alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with freestone
quoins. Pantiled roofs. Brick side stack to north and rear gable end stack.
One storey. T-plan with double boarded doors facing west and main entrance in
angle facing south. West gable with three-light iron casement window.
Interior details complete. The smithy and Vinco Terrace belonged to Wm Eyres,
a farmer and farrier in the C19.
