House with attached cottage, sometime workhouse, now 2 cottages.
Late C18, 1819, later C19. Red brick, painted stucco dressings,
some render. Pantile roof with late C19 overhanging eaves, gable
stacks and single ridge stack. 2 storey, 5 bay front with first
floor brick band. Doorway to right with segmental head, raised
keystone, blank overlight and partially glazed door. 3 light
casement to right and 2 light casement to left with doorway
beyond with overlight and panelled door. 3 light casement to the
left. 2 three light casements above flank 2 two light casements.
All openings with segmental heads and raised stucco keystones.
Painted inscription set between upper windows: "Falkingham
Workhouse 1813".
