Parish Church. 1905-1906 by Connon & Chorley, Leeds. Dressed, snecked sandstone,
Westmorland slate roof. North entrance porch, north tower, 4 bay nave, 3 bay
chancel, north vestry. Free Gothic. Gabled porch, segmental pointed arch to
entrance; plank door, iron strap hinges; diagonal buttresses. 3 stage tower,
3-light windows with segmental pointed arch to first stage; second stage recessed
above splayed water table, small lancet; large 3-light louvred window to bellstage.
Embattled machicolation. Nave: two 3-light windows to north, 4 similar windows
to south. Chancel: 3-light east window with cusped heads. Cruciform finial
to east gable. Tudor arch to north vestry entrance. Interior: arched trussed
roof with bolted king posts.
