Sundial. Dial dated 1766, by P Carter. Ashlar sandstone, bronze. At
centre crossing of 2 main axial paths in garden, circular ashlar plinth and
step supporting short fluted Doric column. On top, bronze dial and gnomon.
Dial has engravings, Latin inscription and signature "P CARTER FECIT 1766".
