Farmhouse. 1753. Squared rubble with stone slate roof. Three storeys, two
windows to each floor. Quoins, gutter brackets. Doorway has simple pilaster
doorcase with frieze and cornice,and a plaque in cyma surround over lettered A C
M and date. Windows in plain stone surrounds with projecting sills are all
sashed with glazing bars. Left hand return has oculus with plaque above
lettered I P R P R O P B 1750. Rear has one 3-light double chamfered mullioned
window at ground floor. Gable stacks. Interior altered, but had formerly a
large elliptical fireplace.
