Two houses. Late C18 or early C19. Rubble, graduated stone slate roof. Two storeys, five first-floor windows, beneath eaves. Two C20 board doors between left-hand windows and below fourth first-floor window. Sixteen-pane sashes throughout. All openings have slight plain stone surrounds. Stacks to left end and between windows two and three. Possibly built or adapted c1820 as workers' cottages for the cotton mill (q.v) Included for group value.
