House. Early-mid C18 with late C18 and C19 additions. Pinkish-brown brick,
red brick quoins, ashlar dressings and pantile and Welsh slate roof. Now
L-shaped on plan: original central hall plan with later C18 one bay
extension to right and C19 wing to left. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Quoins to ends
of original block. 2 steps to central 6-fielded-panel door under oblong
fanlight in doorcase of reeded pilasters with acanthus caps below
entablature with dentil cornice on acanthus consoles. 16-pane sashes in
flush wood architraves throughout, with cills and rendered wedge lintels.
First floor 4-course band to bays 2 to 5 (from left). Wooden eaves band.
Ashlar kneeler and coping to left gable, hipped roof to right extension.
End stacks. Garden front has 3 early C19 16-pane bow windows under cornices
to ground floor. Interior: shutters to some windows. Not fully inspected.
