House. Mid-late C18. Pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and stone slate roof. Central entrance hall plan. 3 storeys, 5 bays. Central entrance with 6-fielded-panel door with overlight in surround with straight tooling under pediment on consoles. Ground and first floor windows are sashes with glazing bars, second floor, 6-pane sashes, all with stone sills and under flat arches of gauged brick. Hipped roof, ridge stacks. Some 16-pane sashes under cambered heads to returns. Interior:open well staircase said to have C18 turned balusters, now covered in. Shutters to some windows. Panelled room to left. Adjoining single-storey range to right not of special interest.
