House now offices. Early C19. Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with
ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 4 bays of which 2 are
canted. Ashlar plinth. Entrance in third bay, a 6-fielded panel door under
oblong fanlight with glazing bar in recessed panelled surround with doorcase
of fluted Doric columns supporting moulded frieze and cornice. Carriage
arch to end. 4-pane sashes throughout, those to ground and first floor with
continuous ashlar cill bands and wedge lintels. Double dentilled eaves
band, ashlar coping, end and ridge stacks. Canted bays have separate turret
roofs surmounted by wrought-iron finials. Interior: open-well oak staircase
with turned balusters, cornice with acanthus moulding to first floor, fourth
bay, some marble fireplaces. Included for group considerations.
