1753. 3 storeys in brick, with bands between storeys. Half-hipped slate
roof. 6 sash windows with stone heads and keyblocks and stone dentilled
eaves cornice. Plaque between 1st floor windows in shaped frame with pediment
bearing inscription "These mills were erected at the expense of Nathaniel
Cholmley Esq, by Philip Williams engineer 1752". Lean-to covering almost
whole of ground floor. Later addition on the right. Interior burnt in
1911.
