Stables, now guest house and wall adjoining to west. Mid - late C18 with
later alterations. Probably by John Carr. Dressed magnesian limestone with
Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 8 bays with central 4-bay pedimented
breakforward. Plinth. Stable entrances to second and seventh bays with C19
6-fielded-panel doors with patterned overlights under flat arches. Ground
floor has 12-pane sashes under flat arches to outer bays and 9-pane round-
arched sashes with radial glazing to heads to centre bays. First floor has
4-pane sashes with sills under flat arches. Projecting eaves band continues
across pediment. Circular sundial to pediment. Hipped roof. Wall to west
has round-arched opening to stableyard within larger arch with imposts.
