outbuildings

Row of cottages with outbuildings linked by wall to south. Late
C18. Coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone, with plinth. Pantiled
roof with stone ridge, copings, kneelers and stacks. Possibly
originally one house. 2 storeys, 3 bays in all. 3 boarded doors,
the 2 on right with overlights. Sash windows, some with glazing
bars. Fairly high-pitched roof with block kneelers and corniced
end chimneys.
Wall at left runs to two small pent outhouses of similar materials,
with an owl hole in north end wall.
