House of 2 builds. C17 with later alterations. Sandstone rubble with
timber framed range underbuilt in sandstone rubble to right, pantile
roof, brick stacks. A baffle-entry 2-roomed range to left with inserted
through-passage and a double-gabled range to right with gables to
street. Left range: single storey, C20 casement to left. Outshut to
right containing a 4-panel door to left and a C20 door in wooden porch
to inserted passage at right, with C20 casement in between. Steeply-
pitched roof with central ridge stack. Right range: 2 storeys, 2 window
front. Blocked entrance flanked by C20 casements. Close studding to
first floor with arch-braces to tie beam. C20 casement windows.
Diamond framing at gable ends. Interior of left range contains large
fireplace and moulded bressumer on moulded posts. 'North Yorkshire and
