C18 or early C19, 2 storeys in coursed stone with pantile roof with 1 large
modern dormer. Coped gable end with kneeler. 2 windows, lintels, no glazing
bars. 2 windows to ground floor, 1 used as shop window. Half-glazed modern
door with projecting triangular fanlight. Brick stacks at gable ends.
Nos 1 and 2 and premises formerly occupied by John Hague form a group with the
Rose Inn, Nos 5 to 8 (consec) and the Masonic Hall.
