Milepost. Late C19. Made by Mattisons of Bedale. Cast-iron. Triangular
on plan with sloping upper surface. Inscriptions. Left face: "Malton 13
miles" beneath pointing hand. Right face: Helmsley 3 miles" beneath
pointing hand. Manufacturers' name to rear.
