Bridge. Dated 1855. For Mr. Joseph Dent. Squared rock-faced sandstone
blocks, and gritstone. Large central round arch flanked by 2 smaller side
arches. Triangular cut-waters. Rock-faced voussoirs. Heavy squared and
chamfered balusters to parapet and central cast-iron date plaque. Pointed
parapet with pyramidal blocks over bridge piers and at centre. Only the
eastern portion of this bridge is in Great Ribston parish. The remainder is
in Little Ribston parish, together with the lodges, gate-piers and gates.
