Boundary stone. Mid-late C18. Gritstone. Approximately 80 centimetres
high, flat top. Inscriptions: north side 'T. F.', south side 'E. L.'.
Erected as one of a series to mark the boundary between the Farnley (Fawkes)
and Harewood (Lascelles) estates. It also stands at the junction of the
parishes of Castley, Weeton and Stainburn.
