Bridge. 1781, designed by John Carr. Ashlar. Six segmental arches with voussoirs;
central arch flanked by semi-circular cutwaters that rise to form pedestrian retreats.
Stone band. Plain parapets with chamfered copings. Square end piers. This bridge
crosses into Skipton upon Swale parish, Hambleton District.
