Includes No 5 (Princess Terrace), North Road. Mid-C19. Red brick. Ashlar
dressings. Pitched slate roof. Three storeys. Balustrade with Geometrical tracery.
Six bays. Ground floor windows have 3-light stone mullioned sashes with shouldered
heads and cusped traceried panels over. Diagonally planked double doors with cusped
2-centred heads: gabled ashlar portals on crocketed consoles with shields in tympana
and ribbon ornament either side. First floor windows are 2 and 3-light stone
mullioned sashes with 2-centred heads and pointed relieving arches with hoodmoulds.
Second floor has the same over each door by, topped by coped gabled semi-dormer;
otherwise flat-topped semi-dormers with casements. Elevation to North Road has a
ground floor canted bay.
