Bridge. Mid C18. Possibly by John Carr. Orange-red brick in stretcher
bond, with dressed sandstone piers and dressings. Three semicircular
spans, the centre one higher, between raked abutments containing flood
arches, now blocked. Bridge arches of fasciated sandstone, between
square-section piers. Sandstone parapet band surmounted by plain parapet
with cambered coping. Pier caps are pyramidal or flat.
