Farmhouse with attached barn to right. Dated 1741 but cross-wing to left is C17.
Cross-wing is of thinly-coursed rubble and rendered, the rest of deeply-coursed
squared rubble. Stone slate roof. Two storeys. 3-bay main range with barn to
right. The cross-wing to left projects at front but is set back at rear. Quoins.
The main range has one 3-light and one 4-light chamfered mullion window to left on
both floors. The chamfered, dated doorway is to the right and to the right of this
is an altered 3-light window to ground floor and a 2-light window to 1st floor,
both chamfered. Two chamfered barn entrances, that to right blocked. To the far
right is a later C18, two-storey,addition of no special interest. The cross-wing
is part obscured by an attached barn. Three reducing ashlar stacks with moulded
cornices. Rear: the cross-wing has a probable 4-light, double-chamfered mullion
window with king mullion, to ground floor (partly obscured by later addition),
and a 3-light, double-chamfered window to 1st floor. The left return (cross-wing)
has a 4-light, double-chamfered window to ground floor.
