3 pedestals, 2 with statues. C19. For the Hickleton Hall estate. Ashlar pedestals,
Roman cement statues. Central pedestal on axis of south front of Hickleton Hall (q.v.)
approximately 300 metres from house. Flanking pedestals set back and approximately
40 metres from central pedestal. Central pedestal: steps, moulded plinth and cornice
to coursed, ashlar die; no statue. Side pedestals: similar but different mouldings.
Eastern statue of female in classical pose now missing right arm. Western statue is
an armless and headless male figure set against a tree trunk.
Statues associated with C20 summerhouse now lying derelict nearby.
