decoration at head to: william Downing of Stainborough Inn d. 22nd July 1753
in his 38th year. A verse follows:
"Time was I stood as thou dost now
And viewd ye dead as thou dost now
E'r long thoul't lie as low as I
And others stand and look on thee."
