Hardwick Hall Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Late C18, altered and extended early C19. Coursed, squared sandstone, Welsh slate and pantile roof. Original L-shaped plan having wing to rear left, later wing infills rear-right angle. Two storeys and attic, three windows to first floor. Ashlar plinth, large quoins. Central door in raised ashlar surround flanked by C20 casements with projecting stone sills and lintels tooled as voussoirs. First floor: sashes with glazing bars, flush wood frames and similar sills and lintels. Damaged kneelers, ashlar gable copings; stone end stacks with bands. Left return: stair window.
