House now club. Early-mid C18 with C19 additions to rear. Coursed,
dressed sandstone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys; 5-bay front with
triple wing to rear which projects beyond left return. Entered from
right return. Large projecting quoins, plinth. Most of lower wall
rendered with irregularly-ruled joints. Central doorway walled-up
with surround removed below mid-height; architrave with tripartite
keyblock, acanthus-carved consoles to broken segmental pediment.
Flanking windows have unequal 15-pane sashes in squared-faced surrounds
with moulded sills; ventilator inserted in upper part of bay-1 window.
Band. Sashes with glazing bars to 1st floor, surrounds as ground floor;
central window emphasised by decorative apron panel, sill blocks, shouldered
and eared architrave and cornice (now cemented over). Moulded cornice
forms gutter and breaks forward over central bay and at each end. Coped
gables; renewed brick end stacks. Left return: attached wing has C19
garden front with curved single-storey bay window to right.
