Sandstone "brick" farmhouse of C17 origin but largely rebuilt and refaced with thin
"bricks" circa 1800. Stone slate roof; saddlestones to gable ends with caveto
moulding carried out as capping to kneelers. Date of 1687 inscribed in south-west
kneeler. Two and 3 light framed square mullioned windows, mostly enlargements of
4 or 5 light ones. Squared jamb doorway with stone gable hood. Lower cottage
extension also with square mullioned windows. Rear outshut.
