Circa 1880 Jacobeathan Bradford School Board primary school incorporating a
late Cl7 or early C18 cottage or part of a house. The school is single-storey
sandstone "brick" with ashlar dressings. Mullion-transomed windows with gables.
The cottage at east end is of 2-storeys coursed gritstone with stone slate roof.
Three light chamfered mullion window to south front on ground floor and
4 centred arched doorways. Two light chamfered mullion window to gable end
and to rear elevation.
