Methodist chapel. 1844, probably by James Simpson, altered 1873. Coursed millstone grit, stone slate roof. One storey, six by three bays, entry from rear wing. Two central bays breaking forward under a pediment capped by a later bellcote. Round-headed windows with glazing bars, stone cills and voussoirs, the two central window having archivolts with keystones and moulded impost band and above them an ashlar band inscribed 'Wesleyan School AD 1873'. Eaves cornice. Ashlar coping. Left gable has clock in architrave. Rear wing with similar windows.
