House. Late C18. Ashlar magnesian limestone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Steps to central 6-panel door beneath fanlight with glazing bars in
pilastered doorcase having cornice on fluted consoles. Flanking bays on each
floor have shallow bowed sashes with glazing bars, projecting stone sills and
concealed lintels; central lst-floor sash with glazing bars has flat-arched
head. Moulded eaves cornice; later brick end stacks. Served as village post
office in mid-C19. (Scott. p87)
