Gothic Revival Church. 1869. Hammer dressed stone. Slate roof
(bitumen covered on north side) with moulded brackets to gutter.
4-bay buttressed nave with lean-to north aisle, south porch and bell-
cote to west end. 2-bay chancel. Heavily moulded doorway to south
porch. 3-light windows to nave, 2-light to chancel, 5-light east
window and 4-light west window, all with Decorated tracery. The
windows to the north aisle are in triple groups the lights having
cusped heads with hood moulds with uncarved stops.
Interior: 4-bay arcade on north side on short columns with foliated
caps. The church is brick lined and arches are in moulded, painted
brickwork. Heavily moulded chancel arch on clustered responds on
corbel brackets. Carved oak chancel screen with rood loft. Square
wooden pulpit with stenccilling to sides and two painted panels to
front.
