House, now 2 dwellings. Mid to late C18; altered. Coursed squared
sandstone, stone slate roof. Double-depth plan. Two storeys and 3 bays;
doorway offset left of centre, and sashed window above this, both with plain
surrounds; otherwise two 3-light windows on each floor, all with flat-faced
flush-mullions and plain surrounds. Gable chimneys and gable copings.
(Small addition to right-hand end, incorporating entrance to Larkfield
Cottage, not included in the item). Left gable has inter alia a round-headed
attic window with imposts and keystone; rear has a tall round-headed
stairlight in similar style, with glazing bars and intersecting traceried
head, a blocked taking-in door to the left, and windows matching those at the
front. Interior not inspected.
